  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 large head broccoli, finely diced
  • 1 jar SAUZ Brown Butter Alfredo
  • 2 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • ½ tsp each kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Prep Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes
Instructions:
  1. Melt butter in a large pot set over medium heat. Add onion, celery and garlic and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until softened. Sprinkle in flour, and cook for 2 minutes, stirring until vegetables are evenly coated.
  2. Add chicken broth, broccoli and Brown Butter Alfredo to pot and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, minutes, or until broccoli is tender and soup is thickened and creamy. Stir in 2 cups of cheese, and stir until cheese is melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle with remaining cheese for serving.
