Ingredients

  • 4 5 oz fresh burger patties (make your fave recipe, or source from your local grocery store or butcher)
  • 1/2 cup Sauz Wild Rosemary Marinara
  • 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (substitute with garlic aioli for added oompf)
  • 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 ciabatta buns, split and toasted
  • 1 cup arugula

Prep Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes
Instructions:
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grates well. Grill burgers for 2 to 3 minutes per side for medium-rare, until well-marked and lightly charred.
  2. Spoon 2 tbsp of Sauz Wild Rosemary marinara over each burger and top with a slice of fresh mozzarella. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, or until cheese is melted and sauce is heated through.
  3. Stir mayonnaise with white balsamic vinegar, chopped basil, and salt. Spread evenly over the tops and bottoms of toasted buns. Top bottoms of burger buns with grilled burgers, arugula, and cap with bun tops.
