Hot Honey Fusilli
1 cup parmesan, freshly grated omit if you're dairy-free
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 jar of Hot Honey Arrabbiata
2/3 cup heavy cream or full fat coconut milk
1 lb fusilli pasta
1 cup reserved pasta water from cooked pasta pot
Fresh basil
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
2. In a separate pan heat the olive oil over medium heat
3. Add in 1 jar of Hot Honey Sauz to the heated pan
4. Add a splash of water to the pan and stir
5. After a few minutes of combining, slowly stir in heavy cream until a smooth sauce forms.
6. Turn off the heat, remove from burner and cover with a lid
7. Add fusilli to the pot of salted boiling water and cook 2 minutes less than packaged directions require
8. With a small cup, scoop out one cup of pasta water for reserve
9. Put sauce back on burner and place on low heat
10. Drain pasta using a colander and add pasta to the pan with sauce
11. Add in 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water and half of the parmesan, stirring consistently to combine and melt the cheese
12. When combined, stir in the remaining reserved pasta water as needed
13. Serve and top with basil
